I assume you’re talking about the pervasive meme that crooked voting in Chicago gave JFK Illinois and thus the election. I try to shoot this down every time I see it. Do the numbers: Illinois had 27 electoral votes. Even if not a single Democratic vote had been recorded in the state and those 27 EVs had all gone to Nixon, JFK would still have won the election.
