I’m just wondering when/if anybody is going to finally be pushing back on Trump’s mindless “Blame-Obama” BS as the answer to any problem in the world? Hell, I’m wondering when Barack Obama is going to pushing back on the BS! When Russia annexed the Crimea (by military force) - what exactly were President Obama’s options (outside of what he actually did)? IMO, there was just one: war with Russia to “recover” the Crimea by force. A policy which, IIRC, had very few advocates then or now….

ADD: and pace Molly McKew, Crimea actually is “Russia”, i.e. populated mostly by people who consider themselves “Russian”, and that the administration of the territory by Ukraine was a bureaucratic mis-step from the Soviet era. Not that that excuses the annexation (except to the Russians, of course)…
