I’m still blaming Andy Reid.

He has home field advantage for his Chiefs. Patriots come to town for conference championship game. He. wins. the. toss. And then he….gives the ball to Tom Brady whose offense sucks up the first eight minutes of the first quarter, ending the drive with a TD. The Chiefs never really recovered.

Look, I don’t care if Brady is 50 years old and plays with a cane. You don’t give him the ball first. You just don’t.

I’m not sure that’s the issue, as giving up the ball in the first half means getting it at the start of the second, which can be key. The problem was the constant defensive collapses right at the end that let the Patriots squeeze on by.
