Heh. I know a jeweler (Jay Whaley in San Diego) whop would tech those two how to make their very own wedding bands eight in his shop. Somehow I think these two would love the idea.

My mom cut her finger last October and had to have her wedding ring cut off. It’s in three pieces now.

I’ve suggested for my dad a place up in NYC that does the same thing, with the hope that they could reuse the gold from mom’s original ring. He’s at least got the info now, don’t know what he’s planning. Her finger still isn’t back to normal, so he’s got a bit of time.
