re: #1 Charles Johnson
Thing is, for Sheldon Adelson, spending $92 million is like one trip to the grocery store for ordinary folks. He could dump ten times that much and not even notice it. The guy has about $40 BILLION - $92M is chump change to him.
Sheldon Adelson spent $90m in the 2012 race - under 0.2% of his wealth. That’d be $88 for the average US home. On @allinwithchris at 8pm— Ari Melber (@AriMelber) March 27, 2014
You and Ari are certainly right, but I still honestly think I would turn my attention to supporting charities and the arts instead of flushing my money down the toilet by giving it to people like Newt Gingrich. It’s hard to accept that a guy who made his vast fortune from casinos can’t figure out when the odds are not in his favor at all.
