When will politicians (especially Republicans, apparently) get it through their heads that they need to hire people to fact-check their stupid questions in private before they embarrass themselves in public? This practice can’t hurt their chances. It just might help them. They certainly haven’t tried it yet.

That would be akin to painting over rotten wood. Looks better but still rotten. Lipstick on a pig, I guess he wouldn’t blink if a doctor wanted to shove a camera up his ass to check his brain.
