Mr. Walker’s core argument is that unions inhibit economic growth and job creation, and that union leaders - “big union bosses,” in his words - hold too much power over public officials.

Ha! These days, compared to mega-corporations, unions have so little lobbying clout that they’re a joke.

At an appearance scheduled for Las Vegas in the afternoon, Mr. Walker plans to call for making it illegal for federal employees to join unions, extend right-to-work policies across the nation and eliminate the federal agency that investigates unfair labor practices.

That last part is new to me. Even if one were to buy into the propaganda about corrupt “big unions” or whatever, how does one rationalize attacking the idea of enforcing labor regulations? By falling back on “feds = bad / regulations = bad” simpleton crap?

This part is an admission that this crusade against unions has nothing to do with any real or perceived excesses of organized labor, and everything to do with helping mega-corporations s*** all over their employees with impunity.
