His supporters don’t think any of this is embarassing. They support him precisely because he mirrors their own worldviews. He lies to their face that he’ll give them health coverage better than Obamacare, all while the GOP plan is so much worse than what existed before Obamacare.

These are the people who don’t realize ACA = Obamacare after all.

These are the people who believe Conway/Trump when they say that there was a Bowling Green Massacre.

These are the people who think that a wall with Mexico will improve their security and that Mexico will pay for it.

These are the people who think tax cuts for the rich will somehow help their own economic well being.

His support remains steadfast among Republicans, who think that there’s a conspiracy out to get him.

Let’s just ignore that he is under FBI investigation for his campaigns repeated contacts with Russians and possibly coordinating actions.

The same GOPers who demanded that nothing be done if Clinton won because she’s under a cloud of suspicion (and still not under FBI investigation) are having no problem with Trump nominating to the Supreme Court and are hoping he approves actions like the excremental AHCA that would, if passed, gut health care coverage for millions and gut Medicare/Medicaid.
