I have been thinking that we could survive the Senate refusing to remove Trump from office, if it was obviously partisan and out of line. What we absolutely could not survive is the House voting against impeachment. That really would be seen as vindication and game over.

I don’t know if the votes are there. I kind think they aren’t yet.
