I’ve been warning about de facto church militias for quite a while. Looks like they’re ready to come out into the open. This is a serious threat because Evangelical church networks provide the local organizational framework that armed right wing nutjobs otherwise lack.

Great. Well-armed, but not well-regulated, mobs who base decision making on this guy’s interpretation of a big book of fairy tales passed word of mouth by ignorant nomadic goat herders who lived thousands of years ago. What could possibly go wrong?
