re: #1 LudwigVanQuixote

Like I said, in the other thread, if you give me some details of what you might be interested in, as far as science goes, I will be more than happy to (and able to) give you many recommendations.

Done. And thank you.

re: #2 LudwigVanQuixote

Also, since you’ve started it - you go first with recommending a book :)

Drat, I knew somebody was gonna say that! ;o)

Now that you mention it, just last week I downloaded the kindle version of Destiny Disrupted: A History of the World Through Islamic Eyes. I’m hoping that between that and Jewish Literacy, I can get a decent handle on some of the stuff going on in the Middle East.

The “Jewish Literacy” book is ginormous though—like 800 pages, so that one’s going to take a while to digest. I read around 500 words per minute, but finding the time to sit down and concentrate when I’m not exhausted from being at the computer all day is the hard part. I haven’t even started The Guide of the Perplexed yet. And there’s this book about WWII, my Islamic books, my purely-for-fun fiction books… *sigh*

Sooo, whatever I manage to finish first is what you guys will get a review on.
