The right would vilify and persecute me for making the connection, but as it has been previously mentioned here at LGF and other progressive sites, this whole kooky notion that we need to purge the unpatriotic and demonize the “un-American” is in no way related to the tempestuous economic times that we live in or to the new policies that are (trying to be) being enacted, but to the fact that we have a black president. If Obama was Bill Clinton none of these resurgent conspiracy movements would be going on—it’s all a ruse dressed (not so inconspicuously) to make us think that Obama is a pinko communist, when clearly there is NO evidence to support that baseless accusation. At least in the 1950’s there were actual (powerful) communist countries at war with us, who actively exported their economic philosophies and hell, there was even a communist party trying to send nominees to the white house. I’m not justifying in anyway the scare tactics promulgated in that era, but I do give the loons back then a little more slack; it’s clear Beck and Co. are trying to disguise their racist intentions and painting them pink.
