I can’t confirm that claim. I can tell you that Anonymous is a formless group that consists of anyone who wishes to join and who thereafter cannot be controlled by anyone else, nor can their actions be confirmed by anyone else. If someone is using botnets to attack the same sites that are being targeted by the faction of Anonymous with which I’m involved, they are doing so in an unethical manner of which neither I nor most others in the movement would approve.
