Well he IS right. A gay person can choose to live a phony, miserable, loveless life with a member of the opposite sex. They can also choose to run Newt Gingrich over if they ever see him on the side of the road.

It’s not about choice, it’s about acceptance. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should or that you desire to.

I don’t get how these right wing people can’t figure out that some gay people are (gasp!) happy with who they are and DON’T want to change.
