Faux News: Global Warming Skeptics as Knowledgeable About Science as Climate Change Believers, Study Says

Fox lies of course, since the study is not about the AGW deniers and those who accept scientific facts, but rather about those who worry and do not worry. While there is a correlation between those who do not worry and deniers (as deniers obviously do not worry), those who worry less are not necessarily deniers. The study in fact shows a correlation between concern and various ideological positions. An “individualist”/egoist can know about long-term consequences of AGW and still not worry too much about it.

Also, the study describes a continuum of concern. If it can be shown that the more sci-literate and numerate worry less, it doesn’t mean they don’t worry at all. It can also signify that those who are less sci-literate/numerate are more likely to conjure super-catastrophic AGW scenarios in the short term, which may not be supportable by science. This will put them into the “more concerned” group, but it doesn’t mean that those who don’t conjure up such scenarios deny AGW or long-term consequences.

Also, the study is based on an online poll. This puts up a red flag for me.
