The local and state elections are incredibly important. The GOP in it’s present form is a Cult. Tell me again how they are going to help America.

I’ve essentially said that to the few Republicans who canvas door-to-door here. I’m polite about it, but I tell them that their party at the national level is batshit insane. The local GOP generally doesn’t reflect that, but I say to them I can’t support a party that is pushing such extreme views.
