Yes, but that’s not the point of my page. The point of my page is that 18 wheelers do give us all a benefit, whether we like it or not. Unless you made or built everything you use, wear, sit on, eat, or drive, you have benefited.

(Who knows, maybe you are posting from a shack in the woods that you built from wood you chopped down yourself while eating tubers you dug out of the ground with your bare hands. However, I know you didn’t build the computer that you’re posting on.)

There is a movement to eat food that is sourced as close to where you live as possible. If we raise the fuel tax we would see this be more of a reality. And yes it would decrease pollution and reduce consumption of fossil fuels.

And if eating locally means you eat less meat and more veggies, so much the better for your health.

The rest of the article is straw man type shit as to why we should not change the fucked up and damaging practices we have adopted these last decades.
