Yeah that’s right: they live in exactly the same culture and way of thinking that you do. They weren’t brought up that way, weren’t taught that that is THE way. No, they were brought up in a nice middle class place with good education, good food and plenty of wireless access. So yes, we shall judge them as if they were our next door neighbors.
For goodness sake. Your argument is a classic symptom of why people talk past each other all the time. Don’t give a shit about the basis of another person - or people’s - reality.
Sure in our culture it may be as simple and easy as you make it out to be(though doubtful).
