Agreed. This fighter doesn’t really exist and we needn’t worry about it. The armed scout helo unveiled at the same time, however, does exist. And it and Iran’s Huey Cobra upgrade are things we should worry about a bit. We shouldn’t fear them, but we should up our air defenses a bit in the Gulf.

Meh. A bunch of crappy old “remodeled” Vietnam era helos with a max range of approximately 357 miles. Currently the USS John C. Stennis is on deployment and currently located in the Persian Gulf until April. The 5th Fleet basically goes on rotation so when it goes some other strike group will arrive. There’s no need to up our existing defenses as they currently stand. There are also multiple asset backups in the region extending into Europe.
