Beck: 'Medical Fact' That Video Games Were 'Gateway Drug' to Newtown Massacre

Am I wrong here, or is what they are saying, or hinting at, that people (maybe just teens and young adults) are influenced by simulated violence to commit actual acts of violence in the real world. Regardless of whether you play the ‘good guy’ or the ‘bad guy,’ if it is violent, it effects you in, for lack of a better word, evil ways…


‘Medically speaking,’ how is that any different than what police officers and current/former military veterans hav been exposed to in combat? How do these seperate events effect the brains of these people in ways that set them apart? If someone advocates this video game theory, I’d love an answer.
