I’ve probably mentioned this here, but I was absolutely shocked to find a 9/11 memorial, towers flaming, in the middle of one of the more evangelical towns in the state. Considering how many Republicans think Obama is a Muslim, they probably think it is his fault, somehow.

Since I live pretty close to NYC, it’s pretty strange that anyone would want to be put up a enduring monument graphically depicting what most people in the area tried to get over years ago.
