I’m on the ground in Lubbock. Even without the signs I would recognize it by the interminable dwell time of the red lights and by every third pickup pulling out in front of me from the side streets. The latter is a Lubbock signature behavior, as though such concepts as “right of way” and “beware cross traffic” were politically correct impositions to be defied.
