You know what would make this concept remotely plausible? If there were ONE SINGLE never-Trump Republican that could help Biden get more than a few dozen extra votes he wouldn’t already get.

There isn’t. Not. One.

I don’t think Biden is looking for a running mate that will help him win never-Trumpers. I think he is trying to stake out a position where he doesn’t scare the pants off conservative dems. As I said, he wasn’t my favorite to start with, age being important to me. But I’m not turned on by anybody now. It’s just going to be Vote Blue no matter Who.
