Robert Bork got a hearing and even opposition from Republicans. Any conservative who uses how Bork was “treated” to justify Garland is full of it. Bork got rejected by Dems because he was an out of touch extremist who made Scalia look like Earl Warren.

That, and he was the hatchetman for Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre.
