I agree on cars…but I still would like to see the numbers. I bet America would be shocked to see how many “accidental” shootings that kill there really are. Just judging my area of Ohio I am pretty sure there are more people killed accidentally by a gun that run over by a car accidentally.

Roughly as many people are killed by guns nationally as are killed in car accidents. The thing is, pretty much all vehicular deaths are unintentional, whereas the majority of gun deaths are intentional.

There used to be a lot more vehicular deaths/100k than gun deaths /100k. But as I say, we regulated the hell out of cars, and have in some ways actually DEregulated guns.
