I think the 5th, 9th, and 11th should be split. The Supreme Court should match the overall number of circuits, as had been the case for decades. Require that the Senate must consider and vote on all judicial nominations regardless of party - up/down vote.

More/better representation in Congress is a good thing. GOP knows that growing Congress and the EC would undermine their control further, because they are already a minority party.

I definitely think increasing it would be good. Nothing says we have to be at 435-100-9 forever. We’ve just accepted it. I think new states could be a great moment for our country going forward. DC and PR are already closer to the lower 48 than Hawaii and Alaska.
