I note that he has diminished sympathies for the OWS movement as they appear to have shrunk into protest for the sake of protest. And I expect the rational parts of the movement are leaving for efforts they see as move productive.

I noticed that too. There was also a gay-lesbian event in DC recently. Occupiers showed up and caused a ruckus, blocked traffic, did Mic Checks and gave speeches during a moment of silence. People were pretty pissed.
It’s starting to look like the OWS revival may not last very long.
