Agreed, I’m usually a 2nd amendment voter. But the insults to my gender far, far outweigh any allegiance I have to, well, any dogma. Either I am a human being under the Law or I am not. If I have no claim to the same civil rights as men, the 2nd Amendment or indeed the entire Constitution has no meaning for me.

And that what is important about the white, male, straight, Christian hegemony in this country starting to end. The beneficiaries of all this privilege are willfully blind to it —- after all, it is never _their_ civil rights that are up for a vote.
