Problem for the GOP on tax cuts is the schedule they’ve set is wildly optimistic. They have less than two weeks to pass a debt ceiling increase, which will be contentious. Then if they want to pass tax cuts on a partisan basis, they need a budget passed so they can use reconciliation again. They want a bill passed by November, yet they don’t even have the broad outlines of one, let alone a budget that can pass a party-line vote.
Its beautiful having watched them waste so much time failing to repeal the ACA that they are going to run out of time to give a massive tax cut to billionaires.
