Just out of curiosity—is there any reason to make polonium-210 any more? We quit using old-fashioned initiators in nuclear weapons 60 years ago, I haven’t seen an anti-static card to put on the tone arm of your turntable for 40, and they must not use it in smoke detectors any more, since they last longer than 6 months now. Is murder the only use for it nowadays?
