ordered a new stove from Sears.
we had mega points and figured Sears may not have a long life

got three (3) phone calls last night - it’ll be delivered today between 3:15 and 5:15.
Pretty accurate.

so we take the old one out last night
plus a little light demo on the counter top

8:57AM another robocall. your order has been delayed to 11/1.
so i call.

It’s a ‘manufacturer delay’. uh-huh.
so the three calls last night -they were *all* mistaken?
yup

ok, well based on those three calls the old stove is gone
how do we cook for three days?

she actually said: “i understand how hard it is to cook without a stove. yours will be arriving on 11/1”

At least she didn’t say something like “I would suggest Door Dash or maybe UberEats?”
