That is an important article and deserves its own Page.

What we’ve been part of these past few years is a large scale restructuring of the world economy and in particular life in these United States.

Anyone who insists are looking at short term numbers (of this or that sort) miss the big picture: what it means to “live” and “work” changes, and we appear to be in a time where more modest “aspirations” are called for, vice the images pumped at us 24/7 by the marketing machines.
