Gee, people want to move away from cold weather states. It’s shocking. Shocking. In most cases, it’s got nothing to do with taxes, but the weather/climate.

Besides, NJ/NY, which are two of the high-tax states, have a higher percentage of millionaires than pretty much anywhere else in the nation, except MD and CT, both of which are high tax states. The other high tax states with high percentages of millionaires: MA, AK, HI, and NH. Other than AK, which uses oil revenues to offset need for personal income tax, the states with higher percentages of millionaires are high tax states.

Is it just me or was the only state on there that had a large number of retirees, Florida and Arizona which has seen a huge rise in retirees as of late wasn’t.
