Actually, Obama has personally and publicly condemned greedy hedge fund managers in the Chrysler case. For the President of the U.S. to condemn private citizens in this very public and accusatory way is extraordinary in and of itself. The rest of the rumors, i.e., that Rattner directly threatened to sic the IRS and other government agencies on recalcitrant Chrysler creditors, are as yet unsubstantiated, but they’re likely to surface in short order.

That’s a lot more than “he said/she said”.
