I actually am looking at my old paper here Sergey and would you agree with my assessment that Russian authorities like American authorities in the South during the age of Jim Crow tended to blame Jews for the violence committed against them much like Southern authorities would blame African Americans for the violence committed against them? It’s been a while since I looked at this but I definitely see the parallels between Russian Antisemitism and contemporary racism against blacks but also scapegoating Muslims in the US.
