This is what’s behind a lot of the last few days’ articles downplaying the Democrats’ chances. Nearly every journalist (and Glenn and Matt) covering the Democratic Party on a regular basis is strongly left-wing and supported the efforts of Bernie Sanders and his organizations (Just Us Democrats, Brand New Congress, We’re Revolting Our Revolution, etc.) Those entities have clearly failed to take over or significantly change the party despite a few primary successes (and most of these have proven to be pointless or Pyrrhic). Therefore, since the Democrats don’t have their preferred message, they must have NO message!
