I’m not sure that’s the issue, as giving up the ball in the first half means getting it at the start of the second, which can be key. The problem was the constant defensive collapses right at the end that let the Patriots squeeze on by.

Brady completed so many third and longs in that game. Mahomes overall had the better game than Brady but Brady got it done when they needed him to and as much as I hate the bastard, he always does that. Everytime I hope Brady is done for good. He’s back. I’m already dreading that NE will be playing for the record next year.
