Doesn’t this drug need a prescription to be acquired? I can’t ever remember seeing it along with the aspirin or jock itch meds. Is it not a controlled substance since it appears it can have some pretty harsh side effects.

It does require a prescription, but over-the-counter meds have serious side effects too. Take a look at Alleve or Advil and you may be hesitant to try them out too.
