Well, what I think it does illustrate is the difference between election year pandering with hollow rhetoric and real world policy decisions. Mitt’s comments are no different. Depsite whatever comments made today he’s probably not going to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. US policy towards Israel will probably change very litle, if at all, under a Mitt presidency. Same goes for Iran.
