I contend that we, in the US, are being forced into a religious war by fundamentalists, who are desperate to escape the reality that their formerly Christian counterparts in Europe faced (in WWI and WWII). Namely, that “Christendom” is at a dead end.

Trump is incredibly immoral by traditional Christian standards. Yet all these Christian fundamentalists in America are flocking to him. Why?

Because he’s their entry into the holy war they desire so much.
