Completely OT….
Saw this girl last night at the Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg Pa with my wife. If you get a chance to see her, don’t pass it up. I’ve followed her for a while and this opportunity came along. Small venue, a old movie theatre. Up in the balcony, while she crossed wires and talked to me with a voice I remember. I was honestly moved. I had tears in my eyes a few times. She took me to a place I hadn’t been for a while. I was old and young at the same time. Been awhile since a voice did that to me. Amy Winehouse did. Reached inside me and crossed wires. My first impression was “real deal”. She killed it. Maybe it takes you somewhere? It’s Friday. Spring is coming. Then the promises of summer. Damn is she good.
Thanks for being here and who you all are. It’s like I can walk into another room and talk to friends at any time. “Hey. Check this out.”
