Oh, kudos to goddamnedfrank above for laying out how insane Louise Mensch is and that she is fighting a losing battle with reality (and Preet Bharara).

Preet knows a thing or two about how the criminal justice system works in the US. Louise doesn’t. She thinks there’s secret indictments just waiting to be dropped. That’s not how it works, and Preet takes her behind the woodshed.

All the while, she stands by her “reporting” despite the fact that she has spun claims that can’t be verified. If they never come to pass, she can claim the indictments were suppressed. But if an indictment is handed down through the ordinary means, she will claim vindication.
