It strikes me that the timeline window is shrinking rapidly…

if the “tax reform” bill dies in the Senate, then the GOP dismantling of the US for their co-owners, Russian and the Conservative Rich is slowed considerably, which means that the domestic end of the stool will fail (the deplorables, the wealthy and the Russians each comprising a leg) and the whole thing topples over because Mueller and the investigations will end this administration, the GOP and their media empire.

Putin still wins because it will take decades to repair what was once built and the trust that was lost. That takes time and a commitment of leaders to actually want to fix things and what get fixed first? the Supreme Court? the voting rights? pay equality? tax codes? guns? the government agencies themselves?

so many tasks and all of them a priority… and this doesn’t even take into account that Putin wont stop and who’s to say that the Chinese and any number of other potential players, (the Isrealis, The Indians, The Saudis, The Iranians, etc) don’t also buy themselves into the great game.
