Vlad has a strategy that the Soviets never really did and that’s to divide left and right. The difference thankfully is most of the elected American left ain’t falling for it.

No American politician (except maybe Bernie Sanders) would risk their reputation by doing anything that was remotely pro-Soviet, but Russia is a different matter: in a lot of ways, it is what the Right want to see here: an oligarchic, authoritarian, theocratic state (except Fundamentalist Protestant instead of Russian Orthodox in nature)
