Exactly, it’s all about her. For whatever reason she felt she had to wear hijab in Egypt or Saudi Arabia¹ and she resented that. So now she’s in America and free to do as she pleases, but doesn’t support an image of an American woman who is wearing hijab of her own free will and faces discrimination because of it because… why?

Mona doesn’t live in the USA anymore, she moved back to Cairo.
