He is, but I’m kind of glad he beat Luther Strange in the GOP primary, because he’s going to make it even harder for the GOP to pass its noxious legislation, and Jones may have a slightly better chance of beating Moore than Strange.

Well, most of the latest polls show Moore ahead of Jones by something like “only” a 50-44 margin, which I suppose is fairly good for a Democrat in Alabama: however, that’s (AFAICT) before any serious campaigning (i.e. media saturation) has begun. And it IS Alabama…..
