So, this morning I read that Trump has declared, in essence, “L’etat c’est totally moi, I can tell you that, believe me!”

So, he believes the President can pardon himself, per Giuliani, that a sitting President can’t be indicted. I’m going to presume here that Trump DOESN’T think he can pardon himself from impeachment. Giuliani thinks Trump pardoning himself means ‘instant impeachment’.

Seems to me that what Mueller could do is to indict Trump on ONE felony, with a sealed indictment held back.

Trump pardons himself for that felony. Congress impeaches, Senate convicts, remaining indictment unsealed once Trump can’t pardon himself anymore.

A man can dream…
