Maybe it is just me but hearing about the Russians offering bounty’s for the Taliban to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan & that Trump was briefed has me wondering about this ambush in Niger….

I seriously doubt a connection.
More likely this bounty has it’s roots in the 2018 Battle of Khasham. Where the Russian mercenary group ‘Wagner Group’ got decimated by American forces in Syria. The Tongo Tongo ambush occurred 4 months earlier in 2017.
