Not dismissing that at all, but those kind of things don’t seem any worse than what the Irish and Italians went through, and far less than what African-Americans went through.

And while non-admission to “exclusive” universities is of course repugnant bigotry, it’s nowhere near the pogroms, expulsions, and genocide that was common in Europe for centuries.

In the Southern US, antisemitism was very close to the level of that subjected to African-Americans, and were specifically targeted by racist organizations like the KKK - this was one of the reasons that Jewish people rode side-by-side with other Civil Rights activists, and were assaulted (and in many cases, murdered) because of it.
