I don’t think Harris tanked because of that. I think she tanked because there’s only so much time and space that can be given to even the top candidates, and with the shootings and Trump’s racism, Beto did a great job of taking the fourth spot. His “I’ve been taking about it, it might have been the shooting that finally got you to notice” to the reporter was actually awesome.
